France

KDE Energy France, a fully owned subsidiary of KDE Energy Europe, was created in 2006. Its head office is situated at Villeneuve d’Ascq in the north of France, and it has branches in Carrouges (61), Le Mans (72) and Nivillac (56). We locate our offices close to our sites, a strategy which makes it easier for us to work with different local stakeholders such as elected representatives, residents and authorities. Wind project development is a long term process. We cover all stages: from identifying a suitable site to running the farm.

Our know-how and our experience enable us to deliver the best technical, legal and financial solution from farm development through to operation.

Our multi-disciplinary team, strengthened through its collaboration with renowned, independent experts involved in technical, countryside, fauna and flora studies, enable us to roll out high quality projects on a local level. Faced with growing energy needs and the prevention of global warming, we have opted for a sustainable source: renewable energies.
Less polluting, they actively contribute to preserving the planet through greenhouse gas reduction. Through local development founded on concertation and respect for local areas, in particular those of natural beauty, we act in partnership with you for cleaner, decentralised energy!

France statistics:

In light of these statistics, France looks to become the country with the greatest growth in the wind energy market in coming years.
